Financial Services Strategy Lead

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research and strategic analysis of fintech and lending markets in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
• Develop 3–5 year strategic roadmaps for consumer and merchant lending products.
• Identify market opportunities, strategic risks, and growth potential by analyzing competitor business models and operating dynamics.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Funding, and E-commerce teams to drive growth across user and merchant ecosystems.
• Lead strategic deep-dives to solve critical business challenges and coordinate cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment, fintech strategy, or business analytics.
• Deep understanding of digital lending and payments business models, including acquiring, issuing, and fee structures.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market sizing, competitive analysis, and strategic frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Excel for data extraction and complex modeling.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience in payments, lending, BNPL, or fintech industries.
• Experience managing cross-regional projects involving both SEA and LATAM markets.
• Experience leading company-level strategic initiatives.
