About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual and team financial, production, and relationship results relative to assigned metrics
  • Engage customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach
  • Represent the Bank in the community by attending civic and community events
  • Uncover sales or referral opportunities through attentive listening and insightful questioning
  • Comply with all regulations, bank policies, and procedures to manage operational and regulatory risk
  • Perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and experience in Sales or customer service OR High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in Sales or customer service
  • Alternatively, 6 months of experience in a customer support role at First Citizens Bank or participation in a First Citizens career development program
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Financial literacy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in telephone sales or banking
