Financial Services Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on financial services matters, including regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, and product support
• Advise stakeholders on matters affecting banking, fintech, payments, consumer credit, lending, funds, asset management, insurance, and investment services
• Draft, review, and negotiate financial services and commercial documentation, including client terms, supplier agreements, and regulatory documentation
• Support cross-functional projects involving regulatory change, product launches, and operational resilience

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification
• Strong experience in financial services, commercial, regulatory, banking, fintech, or asset management sectors
• Proven experience advising financial institutions, fintechs, or in-house legal teams
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to deliver pragmatic advice in fast-paced regulated environments
