Financial Services Assistant

Responsibilities

• Process expense reimbursements, invoices, and journal entries
• Prepare and record regular deposits and perform account reconciliations
• Ensure all transactions obtain proper approvals and comply with University financial guidelines
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documentation
• Provide detailed information regarding financial processes, policies, and procedures
• Respond to financial inquiries and redirect them to the appropriate channels

Requirements

• Advanced College Diploma (3 years) in accounting, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in financial administrative support
• Proven experience processing financial transactions and interpreting financial policies
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and management procedures
• High level of proficiency with SAP (FIS, HRIS, Logistics), MS Office (Word and Excel), and BI tools
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential material with discretion and sound judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a university or academic environment
