Financial Reporting - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform first-level reviews on private equity and hedge fund financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff members.
• Manage risk by ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and client-specific checklists.
• Oversee workflow, assign work, and estimate personnel needs to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Implement standard practices and technology enhancements, including the use of automation to improve processes.
• Coordinate activities between multiple departments and global offshoring partners.
• Resolve client issues and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Fund Financial Reporting, accounting, or the finance field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts that allow for overlap with US and EMEA business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or similar.
• Experience with fund accounting and transaction management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and financial analysis.
