Financial Reporting - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform first-level reviews on private equity and hedge fund financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Provide end-to-end support to investment company clients to ensure timely completion of financial statements for audit and client review.
• Manage risk by ensuring staff adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and Client Specific Procedures.
• Oversee workflow, assign work, and estimate personnel needs to ensure accuracy and meeting of deadlines.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Coordinate activities between multiple departments and global offshoring partners.
• Implement process enhancements and utilize automation to improve current systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Fund Financial Reporting, accounting, or the finance field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in shifts that allow for overlap with US and EMEA hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or similar.
• Experience with fund accounting and transaction processing.
