Financial Reporting Officer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of standard practices, processes, tools, and technology enhancements such as system conversions.
• Manage team operations to ensure proper oversight of joint ventures and service delivery.
• Manage key relationships with client companies, regulatory bodies, and vendor organizations.
• Collaborate with global operational teams to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Assess operational effectiveness and implement plans to streamline functions and optimize technology usage.
• Monitor and assess the impacts of regulatory changes on financial reporting.
• Proactively manage business-level risk and model ethical decision-making.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Business Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of related management experience, preferably within a public accounting audit firm or a financial services organization.
• In-depth knowledge of SEC, IRS, and GAAP accounting requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
