About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain books and records for APAC businesses
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with regional and global teams
- Prepare or review accounting reconciliations and financial schedules
- Collaborate with outside auditors and advisors
- Interpret GAAP and document accounting policies and internal controls
- Work with accounting technology teams to improve and automate processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and qualified accountant with relevant credentials
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting role
- Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
- Solid understanding of IFRS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory regimes
- Experience with Workday for accounting and reporting
