Financial Reporting Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for the firm’s European businesses
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in conjunction with regional and global accounting teams
• Prepare or review accounting reconciliations and financial schedules supporting financial statements
• Collaborate with outside auditors and advisors
• Interpret GAAP and document accounting policies and internal controls
• Work with the accounting-specific Technology team to improve and automate processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• ACA or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years of post-qualified experience in an accounting role
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
• Solid understanding of FRS 102 and/or IFRS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Familiarity with regulatory regimes
• Experience using Workday (Financial Data Model)
