Financial Reporting Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review external financial reporting deliverables, including quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Conduct technical accounting research for complex transactions including ASC 718, ASC 815, and ASC 842
• Support the implementation and operation of Workiva for financial reporting and controls
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and coordinate audit requests
• Support the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
• Partner with Finance Systems to ensure integration between ERP systems and reporting platforms
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation
• Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Tax, and Equity Accounting teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting
• Expertise in US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with Workiva or similar financial reporting platforms
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Workday Financials is a plus)
• Experience supporting SOX compliance programs
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SEC reporting experience
• Experience with Python or SQL for reporting automation
