Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the budgeting and forecasting process, including rolling forecasts
• Build and refine financial models, scenario planning and sensitivity analyses
• Perform detailed variance analysis to explain differences between actual performance and budgets/forecasts
• Analyse performance drivers, trends and key business metrics (KPIs)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packs for finance leadership
• Maintain dashboards and visual insights using BI tools
• Partner with business units to interpret financial outcomes and identify risks/opportunities
• Contribute to process improvements and automation of reporting workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment or JSE listed company
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Familiarity with ERP and BI tools (Xero)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CFA
