Financial Planning Manager – Process & Tools

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary administrator and key user for financial planning, consolidation, and reporting tools
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data load rules, business rules, and calculation scripts
• Ensure timely and accurate data loads including validation checks and discrepancy resolution
• Reconcile data between systems to ensure alignment with accounting standards
• Support monthly forecast, budget, and month-end close cycles
• Handle day-to-day system issues, user queries, and troubleshooting
• Maintain process documentation and provide hands-on training to users
• Implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency
• Manage and support one direct report

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
• Solid hands-on experience with financial planning or reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Planning)
• Experience with financial data, reporting processes, and system administration
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or scripting is a plus
• Fluency in English
• First experience in managing or coaching others
