Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the development of the College-wide budget in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Develop and deliver actionable budget reports and provide ongoing analysis on budget attainment.
• Lead the Internal Budget Committee to ensure diverse campus perspectives are captured.
• Manage technical budget aspects within the College’s ERP system and provide training to staff.
• Enhance the College’s forecasting model and provide detailed reports with variance analysis.
• Lead scenario planning and financial modeling to support institutional initiatives and long-term planning.
• Develop financial dashboards, metrics, and automated operational solutions to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data integrity.
• Assist with debt management and capital financing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of financial management experience, including budget development and management.
• Proven skill in financial reporting and complex financial modeling.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, planning software, and data mining.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and proficiency with Google Apps.
• Strong ability to analyze complex information and deal with ambiguity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA license.
• Experience working within a non-profit or university environment.
