About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the development of the College-wide budget in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Develop and deliver actionable budget reports and provide ongoing analysis on budget attainment.
- Lead the Internal Budget Committee to ensure diverse campus perspectives are captured.
- Manage technical budget aspects within the College’s ERP system and provide training to staff.
- Enhance the College’s forecasting model and provide detailed reports with variance analysis.
- Lead scenario planning and financial modeling to support institutional initiatives and long-term planning.
- Develop financial dashboards, metrics, and automated operational solutions to improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data integrity.
- Assist with debt management and capital financing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of financial management experience, including budget development and management.
- Proven skill in financial reporting and complex financial modeling.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, planning software, and data mining.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and proficiency with Google Apps.
- Strong ability to analyze complex information and deal with ambiguity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA license.
- Experience working within a non-profit or university environment.
