Financial Planning Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner for assigned local and global areas
• Perform regular inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Establish and enforce internal controls regarding inventory handling and reporting
• Prepare financial analyses, KPIs, and management reports covering spending, labor tracking, and production scrap
• Conduct regular cost and variance analyses and initiate corrective actions
• Develop and monitor project budgets and create regular cash forecasts
• Act as a liaison for labor time tracking applications and provide ad-hoc financial analyses

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles, concepts, and practices
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with SAP
