Responsibilities
- Build and maintain corporate finance, FP&A, and liquidity models for budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
- Develop financial models for project development, manufacturing scale-up, and structured financing
- Partner with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate build plans into financial forecasts
- Create planning tools to provide visibility into cash needs, cost drivers, and capital efficiency
- Support budgets, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and investor/board materials
- Work with accounting to reconcile forecasts to actuals and improve data quality
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance in a capital-intensive industry
- Advanced Excel modeling skills (three-statement modeling, cash forecasting, scenario analysis)
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structure, and liquidity
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for leadership and investor reporting
- High ownership and attention to detail
- Regular on-site presence in Portland, Oregon
Preferred Qualifications
- Investment banking experience in infrastructure, power, or industrials
- Experience with renewable energy tax credits or asset-backed structures
- Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or clean technology industries
- Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or accounting operating systems
- Proficiency with AI-enabled workflows and automation
