About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a rolling 12–24 month driver-based financial model (P&L, cash flow) across markets, including scenario planning and sensitivities.
  • Manage the monthly close and prepare performance reports with detailed P&L analysis, contribution margin bridges, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct deep dives on unit economics, including cohorts, pricing, utilization, and fleet/asset costs to drive profitability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Supply, and Operations teams to translate OKRs into financial forecasts and support quarterly business reviews.
  • Support strategic finance initiatives such as fundraising, debt facilities, capital allocation, and debt covenant tracking.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards linking operational KPIs to financial outcomes, automating reporting where possible.
  • Present clear financial narratives and insights to leadership, the board, and external stakeholders.
  • Groom and manage the finance team, focusing on professional upskilling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CFA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance within high-growth tech, mobility, marketplace, or fintech environments.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including driver-based models and cohort/lifetime value analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and a working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Looker, Power BI).
  • Proven experience producing executive and board-level materials and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with asset-backed/debt modeling.
  • Experience with subscription or credit risk metrics.
  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
