Financial Planning & Analysis Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process for the Home Lending Revenue line of business
• Develop, consolidate, and present robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, including annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecast variances
• Create, maintain, and review complex financial models for both recurring and ad-hoc needs
• Serve as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, and Functional Finance teams to provide impactful reporting
• Produce presentations and supporting materials for senior management and key internal clients
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on key issues to determine root causes and propose strategic solutions
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial initiatives

Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, and Visual Basic (including macros)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into cohesive recommendations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably within the financial services industry
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or an MBA
