Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process for aviation parts sales, aircraft leasing, and corporate functions.
• Partner with business unit leaders to build detailed revenue and cost projections including labor, materials, and logistics.
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actual variance analyses with actionable insights regarding gross margin and EBITDA.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for executive leadership.
• Support capital expenditure planning and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales teams to provide financial insights for contract negotiations.
• Assist in strategic decision-making through scenario and sensitivity analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in budgeting, FP&A, or cost accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and scenario analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Quantum, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, revenue recognition, and inventory valuation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or CMA certification.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO environments.
• Experience in inventory-heavy or project-based operations.
• Knowledge of lease accounting and contribution margin analysis.
