About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a personal client portfolio through proactive business development and strategic outreach
  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals
  • Acquire new clients and assets using various prospecting methods, including networking and community engagement
  • Utilize data and technology tools to analyze results and provide informed financial guidance
  • Stay current with financial trends, market news, and industry best practices
  • Maintain a strong focus on risk management to protect both clients and the company

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in banking or financial services preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and grow a client base
  • CIRO Registered Representative (RR) licensing or willingness to obtain it
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) if not already licensed
  • Commitment to earn the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first three years
