Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen mass affluent client relationships through proactive outreach and tailored financial guidance.
  • Drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute business development plans to identify prospects and facilitate investment solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses and outbound communications to maintain client engagement.
  • Participate in local community events and professional associations to build a strong market profile and network.
  • Collaborate with internal branch networks and partners to provide access to the full breadth of Scotiabank resources.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
  • Mutual fund certification with current accreditation and standing for CIRO licensing requirements (e.g., CSC or IFIC).
  • Successful completion of a Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) and/or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
  • Proven networking, client acquisition, and interpersonal skills, including experience with Centres of Influence (COIs).
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel to meet clients within the designated district.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur.
