Responsibilities
- Develop and deepen client relationships within the mass affluent market by providing high-quality investment and financial planning advice.
- Execute business development plans to drive investment sales and new client acquisition.
- Provide client-centric solutions through a comprehensive financial planning framework.
- Conduct proactive outbound communications and needs analyses to identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in local professional and community events to expand your professional network and market profile.
- Build and maintain Centres of Influence (COIs) to support practice growth.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Mutual funds certification with current accreditation and good standing for MFDA licensing requirements (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
- Successful completion of a Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
- Proven networking, client acquisition, and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel to meet clients.
- Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur.
