About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and deepen mass affluent client relationships by providing high-quality investment and financial planning advice.
- Drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles and regulatory requirements.
- Execute business development plans to identify and engage prospects and existing clients within the assigned market area.
- Conduct proactive outbound communications and needs analyses to remain top-of-mind for future business opportunities.
- Participate in local professional and community events to build a market profile and expand your professional network.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Mutual fund certification with current accreditation and good standing for CIRO licensing requirements (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
- Successful completion of a Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
- Proven networking, client acquisition, and interpersonal skills, including experience with Centres of Influence (COIs).
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for meeting clients and prospects within the designated district.
