About the Company
Corgi is a full-stack insurance carrier building better, faster insurance products for startups. We underwrite and issue policies directly, with fewer handoffs and less friction. We form and operate insurance companies from the ground up, using AI and software to automate the workflows traditionally handled by large teams.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day financial operations across the business
- Manage and track payments, vendor relationships, and financial workflows
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end processes
- Help oversee payroll funding and internal financial transfers
- Maintain accurate financial records and operational documentation
- Identify inefficiencies and help improve financial systems and processes
- Coordinate across teams to ensure financial information is accurate and timely
- Support audits, compliance, and operational finance projects
- Take ownership of special projects and operational problem-solving
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, bookkeeping, or AP/AR
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial systems
- Strong follow-through and ownership mentality
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with evolving processes
- Clear cross-functional communicator
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll, accounting software, or financial systems
