Financial Modelling & Performance Analyst – Transformation

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective, timely, and accurate global standard Excel-based financial reporting models to support transformation programmes.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and drive the automation and simplification of financial models.
• Prepare and maintain forecast and actual reporting for transformation and restructuring initiatives, ensuring accurate cost tracking against approved budgets.
• Monitor project spend, run rates, and phasing, while proactively highlighting variances, risks, and emerging cost pressures.
• Support planning and forecasting activities to ensure alignment with the latest actuals and approved business cases.
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment, cut-off, and cost recognition in line with Group policies.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling, and management reporting to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4–7+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Project Controlling, or related finance roles.
• Hands-on experience in actuals reporting, cost tracking, and variance analysis, preferably within a project or change environment.
• Strong expertise in budget management, cost control, and forecasting.
• Solid knowledge of R2R processes and finance systems such as SAP FI and BI/reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and proven experience in complex financial model building.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders and transformation teams.
