Financial Markets Analyst - Index Review

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic reviews of index compositions by applying specific index methodologies and rules
• Participate in strategic projects, including the definition of new index concepts and automation coordination with IT
• Collaborate with stakeholders on methodology enhancements, regulatory requirements, and client queries
• Drive process improvements to ensure high data quality for equity indices during review cycles
• Communicate index review details effectively to clients in both English and German

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, economics, econometrics, or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a financial environment (e.g., Index Business, Asset Management, or Product Development)
• Strong understanding of financial markets and the impact of corporate actions on indices
• Fluency in both English and German (minimum C1 level)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in VBA programming, SQL, or database management
• Experience in Index Operations, Corporate Actions management, or middle/back-office securities operations
• Familiarity with market data applications such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv
• Fluency in additional European languages such as French, Spanish, or Italian
