Financial Health Strategy Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic improvements in financial health by guiding customers through financial hardship and creating pathways to stability.
• Deliver strategic changes that ensure good customer outcomes while protecting the company's interests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, product managers, engineers, and operations staff to implement proposed changes.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to analyze the impact of recent changes and monitor overall portfolio performance.
• Manage relationships with external partners to ensure they adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the growth and development of junior team members within the squad structure.
• Document strategies and use data to ensure execution aligns with governance, control, and monitoring expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Collections and Recoveries strategy.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, including CONC, SYSC, Consumer Duty, and the CCA.
• Experience managing and auditing external partner relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, risk, and finance teams.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to use data to mitigate risks.
• Ability to navigate fast-moving, ambiguous, and changing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed trade-offs between feasibility and desired outcomes.
