About the Company

Fondazione MICRA is a non-profit organization that promotes financial inclusion and sustainable economic development through activities and projects in microfinance, financial education, and technical assistance for microenterprises. It operates in Italy, across Europe, and in developing countries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of financial education training modules for small producers
• Assist with translation of material from English to Arabic
• Contribute to the coordination of other thematic experts according to planned training modules
• Assist with the follow-up and reporting of activities
• Conduct at least one module in financial education and in ESG related to agribusiness sustainability
• Interact with local financial institutions and stakeholders to coordinate relations with local partners

Requirements

• University degree in economics, finance, management, agroeconomics, or rural development
• At least two years of experience in development cooperation projects
• Understanding of the financial inclusion sector in Lebanon and rural finance for entrepreneurship
• Ability to be present in the Beqaa region at least 75% of the time
• Willingness to travel to Beirut for partnership meetings

• Experience in supporting agricultural businesses
