Financial Crime Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day performance of Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime Referrals, and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• Oversee the financial crime transaction monitoring team and assist with complex cases
• Equip operations teams with effective training and guidance
• Lead investigations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Support senior management in implementing operational changes and managing multiple projects
• Manage the personal and professional development of direct reports
• Contribute to a strong control environment by minimizing breaches and resolving incidents
• Collaborate with analytics to identify data sources for identifying high-risk activity
• Work with product stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach across the customer lifecycle

Requirements

• Experience in managing financial crime operations or transaction monitoring
• Ability to lead and develop high-performance teams
• Strong understanding of regulatory obligations regarding SARs and financial crime
• Experience in investigation management and operational reporting
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics and product
