Financial Crime Strategy Vice President

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first-line subject matter expert on KYC, AML, and Sanctions, providing guidance to business stakeholders.
• Execute and embed Chase Germany’s financial crime strategy within business-as-usual operations.
• Shape financial crime product design and control requirements, including sanctions screening, risk scoring, and transaction monitoring.
• Perform change impact assessments for new products and policy updates to ensure framework effectiveness.
• Translate global regulations and policy requirements into practical financial crime controls.
• Support enterprise risk governance, including AML, Sanctions, and Tax Evasion risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to the monitoring, testing, and assurance of controls by supporting audits and compliance testing.

Requirements

• Experience in a financial crime role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of the financial crime regulatory landscape in Germany.
• Proven experience contributing to financial crime risk assessments or change impact assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior management.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders to drive outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent.
• Experience in retail banking.
• Experience coordinating responses to audits, compliance testing, and regulatory reviews.
