Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance with financial crime prevention, money laundering (PLD), terrorism financing (FT), anti-corruption, and FATCA regulations.
• Maintain and update manuals, policies, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Update methodologies, matrices, and risk maps to ensure effective control design.
• Generate deliverables for internal audits and follow up on action plans until closure.
• Respond to official requests from the CNSF by gathering information and analyzing operations.
• Update training programs to increase employee awareness regarding financial crime regulations.
• Provide consultancy and advisory support to different areas regarding PLD, FT, and anti-corruption.
• Analyze system alerts and email notifications to process them in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Economics, Administration, Law, or Accounting.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Intermediate level in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and FT (Terrorism Financing) regulations.
• Knowledge of operational and business processes within the Insurance sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• PLD certification from CNBV, UIF, or ACAMS.
• Knowledge of anti-corruption and general financial crime regulations.
• Experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, or Internal Control roles.
