Financial Crime Associate Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise entry to mid-level roles to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance of tactical tasks and processes
• Manage the implementation of procedures, controls, and analytics to ensure detection, investigation, and reporting of financial crime activity
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and FACTA
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within less complex functions
• Manage risk-based financial crimes programs and lead the implementation of multiple complex initiatives
• Make supervisory decisions regarding team work allocation, daily operations, and resource management
• Mentor and guide talent development for direct reports and assist in the hiring process
• Collaborate with peers, Audit, and regulators on risk-related topics and escalations

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, or Anti-Bribery and Corruption
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and FACTA

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex financial crime initiatives
• Proven track record in leadership and talent development within a risk management environment
