Financial Crime Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of analytics and the collation of fraud events detected or reported against the Firm
• Test 1st line controls to ensure they effectively mitigate fraud risks and drive continuous improvement
• Work alongside the sanctions function to aid in reviews, investigations, and business conversations
• Support the development and reporting of KRI, KPI, and MI to measure control effectiveness
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and assist in the preparation and maintenance of records

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in financial crime
• Knowledge of UK regulations relating to fraud, sanctions, and AML
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong data analysis and management skills
• Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet pre-determined deadlines
