Financial Controlling Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and fair representation of legal entity financial statements and underlying processes
• Lead all aspects of statutory reporting and coordinate the month-end close process
• Drive the financial control agenda and ensure compliance with internal control environments and SOX requirements
• Act as the lead point of contact for in-market finance teams on all financial control issues
• Manage balance sheet reviews at a legal entity level to capture risks and opportunities
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to resolve potential audit issues
• Identify and lead process improvement projects and automation initiatives
• Oversee complex accounting tasks including legal settlements, pension accounting, and tax assessments

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification
• 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in controlling, accounting, or audit roles within multinational companies
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting standards
• Proven experience with the preparation of statutory accounts and submissions
• Strong proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent business English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage key stakeholders
