Financial Controlling Junior Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational accounting and financial activities, ensuring all processes adhere to relevant policies and desktop procedures
• Prepare statutory financial statements and reports, including Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and P&L
• Review Record-to-Report (RtR) team work, including SAP journals and BFC reporting, to ensure control compliance
• Perform trial balance pre-reviews, GL reconciliations, and action unreconciled items before month-end closes
• Manage both internal and external audit processes
• Coordinate and support junior team members in fulfilling their business-as-usual record-to-report tasks
• Proactively suggest and implement process improvements and additional control points

Requirements

• CA or ACCA qualification
• 4-6 years of professional experience within the FMCG industry
• Proven expertise in Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Financial Controlling
• Experience with end-to-end Financial Statement preparation and review
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, multi-national environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other integrated financial systems
• Knowledge of BFC or Group reporting
• Experience with SOX or internal/external audit frameworks
• Understanding of non-financial reporting matters such as ESG
