Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the month-end close process and manage complex accounting entries in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Drive financial reporting, budgeting, and revenue forecasting using advanced data tools to deliver insights to corporate management
• Lead local revenue and treasury management, including FX estimation, cash optimization, and standalone selling price analysis
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, corporate governance, and tax compliance
• Act as the key user for financial systems and provide managerial oversight and support for local team members

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing full-cycle financial accounting, month-end close, and statutory reporting
• Proven expertise in FAS standards and experience navigating external audit processes
• Strong analytical mindset with a background in complex journal entries, revenue recognition, and corporate compliance
• Ability to act as a central contact for business operations and manage financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a multinational technology or software business
• Proficiency in the Finnish language
