Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operations of the accounting department ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Provide accurate financial analysis and guidance for management
• Assure compliance with internal controls and perform regular audits
• Analyze budget variances and suggest operational improvements to the Executive Committee
• Optimize cash flow and manage accounts receivable collection
• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax filings
• Lead, train, and develop the accounting team to maximize productivity
• Support all departments in the preparation of annual budgets

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
• Proven background as a Hotel Financial Controller or similar role managing multiple business units
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Expertise in financial controlling and reporting tools
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
