Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the Midland Operations Manager and a key member of the leadership team
• Manage the Midland finance function, including the development and implementation of financial strategies
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies
• Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics
• Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
• Partner with plant leadership to analyze production costs, labor efficiency, and material usage
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure successful documentation for all financial audits
• Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with financial consolidation systems like OneStream
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting
• Proven ability to drive operational performance and act as a strategic business partner

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or MBA designation
