Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare monthly financial schedules, reconciliations, and reports.
• Support month-end close activities, including processing accruals and provisions.
• Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts within the assigned area.
• Manage the IFRS statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), and transfer pricing regulations.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional certification (ACCA, AICPA, CA, or CIMA).
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience working with external audits and strong practical knowledge of IFRS.
• Solid understanding of applicable tax regulations and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to manage large datasets and multitask effectively under strict deadlines.
