Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Prepare, control, and report financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across departments.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Oversee internal control systems and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and tax obligations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial reporting with business goals.
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and ad-hoc financial risk assessments.
• Optimize automation of ERP and accounting tools such as Netsuite, Payhawk, and Ramp.
• Analyze and report variances to provide insights into financial performance metrics.
• Continuously improve financial processes, systems, and controls for scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management.
• Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial statements, and tax regulations.
• Experience with tools such as Excel, Netsuite, Payhawk, Ramp, Oracle, or SAGE.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a senior audit position or a Big 4 firm.
• Experience working in a Start-up or Scale-up environment.
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
