Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations, accounting policies, and statutory compliance for multiple Ibis hotel properties in the Mumbai region
• Prepare and interpret financial statements, reports, and budgets for the hotels
• Implement internal controls to safeguard assets, fixed assets, and inventories
• Oversee materials management, including purchasing, receiving, and resource allocation
• Manage payroll, productivity, and departmental staffing in coordination with Talent & Culture
• Ensure compliance with local government regulations, tax obligations, and legal requirements
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to company standards

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
• 10-12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, MIS, statutory compliance, and taxation
• Experience with hotel PMS and hospitality software such as Sun System, Opera, or Material Control
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple properties and cross-functional teams
