Financial Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance core team member for the Mitral and Tricuspid franchises, providing insights for portfolio prioritization and strategic planning.
• Partner with the Vice President of New Product Development and program leaders to deliver consolidated reporting, key metrics, and financial forecasts.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Upstream Marketing teams, supporting financial modeling and business case development for new therapies.
• Provide strategic financial insights and scenario analysis to senior leadership to enable data-driven decisions on program funding and investment strategy.
• Lead the Enrich modeling process to ensure alignment between development assumptions and demand planning.
• Drive financial rigor across development programs by coordinating cross-functional reporting and supporting investment reviews.
• Coordinate with global manufacturing sites to support clinical inventory accounting and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and forecasting accuracy across the NPD organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting R&D, product development, or innovation organizations.
• Experience partnering with marketing, R&D, and operations in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong financial modeling, scenario planning, and long-range planning experience.
• Experience supporting complex portfolios or program-level financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across a matrixed organization.
• Experience working in the medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry.
• MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced certification.
