About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the finance core team member for the Mitral and Tricuspid franchises, providing insights for portfolio prioritization and strategic planning.
- Partner with the Vice President of New Product Development and program leaders to deliver consolidated reporting, key metrics, and financial forecasts.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to Upstream Marketing teams, supporting financial modeling and business case development for new therapies.
- Provide strategic financial insights and scenario analysis to senior leadership to enable data-driven decisions on program funding and investment strategy.
- Lead the Enrich modeling process to ensure alignment between development assumptions and demand planning.
- Drive financial rigor across development programs by coordinating cross-functional reporting and supporting investment reviews.
- Coordinate with global manufacturing sites to support clinical inventory accounting and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and forecasting accuracy across the NPD organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting R&D, product development, or innovation organizations.
- Experience partnering with marketing, R&D, and operations in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong financial modeling, scenario planning, and long-range planning experience.
- Experience supporting complex portfolios or program-level financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across a matrixed organization.
- Experience working in the medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry.
- MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced certification.
