Financial Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end accounting processes and analyze transactional data to support decision-making
• Coordinate and oversee the month-end closing process to ensure financial data accuracy
• Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues related to your area of expertise
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement and recommend effective solutions
• Execute and ensure the effectiveness of business controls through comprehensive reviews and verifications
• Support the department by assisting in the training and mentoring of team members

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate work experience
• 6-8 years of related work experience in financial management, accounting, or internal audit
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with SAP Applications
• Experience with account reconciliation and financial statement analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Bookkeeper certification
