Financial Associate

Responsibilities

• Own and execute accounting processes and perform complex analysis of transactional information to support decision-making
• Lead the development, implementation, and communication of procedures to ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex systems or policy issues within your area of expertise
• Drive the implementation and integration of new accounting processes and systems across the organization
• Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations
• Execute and ensure the effectiveness of business controls through comprehensive reviews and verifications
• Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level roles to enhance overall organizational performance

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate work experience
• 8+ years of related work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, or accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and managing month-end closing processes
• Experience with SAP applications and internal controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Bookkeeper certification
• Experience in external auditing or financial services
