Financial and Corporate Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance, financial, and operational audit engagements for domestic and international operations.
• Support the planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up of audit engagements.
• Execute testing strategies by obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating data while adhering to internal audit methodologies.
• Assist senior auditors by compiling data for audit reports and maintaining detailed work paper documentation.
• Document processes and prepare audit findings throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Research applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Working knowledge of the COSO control framework and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
• Ability to travel 5-10%, including potential international travel.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple resources simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CIA certification (or currently in the process of obtaining).
• Prior experience within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures to resolve complex issues.
