About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in four 6-month rotations across the Controllership and Finance organizations, including Corporate, Disney Entertainment, and Disney Experiences.
- Strengthen technical expertise in areas such as Operational/Transactional Accounting, Financial Reporting, Corporate Tax & Audit, and Finance.
- Follow a specialized curriculum to develop professional skills in communication, leadership, presentation, and writing.
- Work towards CPA licensure using provided company resources and by satisfying required work-hour components.
- Engage with peers and senior leaders across various Disney business segments to expand your professional network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (with an emphasis on accounting).
- A strong desire to become a licensed CPA.
- Previous business experience gained through internships, part-time work, or on-campus involvement.
- Proven track record of taking on leadership positions and significant responsibility.
- Ability to graduate and begin full-time employment by August 3, 2026.
- Willingness to permanently relocate to the Burbank/Glendale, CA area if not currently local.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to meet all credit-hour requirements to sit for the CPA exam prior to starting the program.
- Proficiency in advanced analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Snowflake.
- Comfort and experience using AI tools like CoPilot.
