Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and period-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial results for accuracy.
• Provide accurate financial analytics and reports by collecting, formatting, and analyzing data to track key performance metrics.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of historical results and performance variances to identify trends for reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions and organizational changes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure reporting compliance with IFRS within a strong control environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the development of automated reporting to increase productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a directly related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• General understanding of IFRS and SOX controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, coordinate projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Oracle.
• Experience using Planning Based Cloud Services (PBCS).
