Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly review of Cost Center expenses and production order settlements
• Manage month-end sales and delivery cutoffs to ensure proper revenue recognition
• Prepare monthly and quarterly adjusting journal entries, including devaluations, warranties, and accruals
• Participate in monthly closing processes and master data checks
• Provide ad hoc query reports and financial analytics for Business Managers and Controlling teams
• Assist with annual budget preparation and ongoing budget monitoring
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide insights for decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance position
• Proficiency with database and spreadsheet programs
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Ann Arbor, MI

• Experience working with SAP
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
