Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analyst expertise in budget formulation and execution to support the Missile Defense Agency Chief Digital Officer mission
• Support the development and maintenance of financial data files, tools, and reports for the Director of Engineering Management
• Support program execution reviews, requirements tracking, cost estimating, and earned value management
• Analyze and track financial planning data, including commitments, obligations, and expenditures
• Coordinate financial content for Executive-level briefings and meetings
• Work with technical staff, schedulers, and project managers to provide financial recommendations to organizational leadership

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and 7+ years of related experience
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience in cost analysis, cost controls, and budget management
• Experience collecting and managing financial data from various organizational sources
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience with data management principles and large datasets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Milestones Pro, and Power BI
• Experience with financial data tracking sites such as DAI, WAWF, or Shared Data Warehouse (SDW)
• Strong data visualization and display techniques
