Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support yards and project close-outs through cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance functions
• Foster relationships with the Operations team to learn about field work and project needs
• Maintain purchasing workflow internal controls, including invoice processing and goods procurement
• Review costs and quantity claiming for accuracy to ensure proper management reporting
• Identify and adjust forecasts against cost reports to confirm accurate recognition of revenue and costs
• Adapt to project needs by assisting in various areas to support the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or an equivalent degree
• 0-2 years of financial or data analysis experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies
• Ability to work in various construction site environments and climates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other advanced Excel functions
• Previous internship experience in a professional business or finance setting
