About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with business partners to provide guidance, technical support, and training for budgeting and reforecasting processes.
- Support and troubleshoot financial systems including Hyperion EPMBCS, SAP 4/HANA, and SAP Project Systems.
- Lead expense forecasting activities and contribute to the development and approval of the Annual Financial Plan.
- Develop complex financial models, scenarios, and analyses to support forecasting and continuous improvement.
- Design and deliver dashboards and reports highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance.
- Analyze actual variances to plans and forecasts to identify risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project tracking for both capital and operating expenses.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, accounting, or a related collaborative role.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access).
- Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance designation (CPA, CFA, MBA) or progress toward one.
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion EPBCS Planning.
- Programming or scripting skills such as VBA, SQL, or JavaScript for automation.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
